In the face of fresh competition both within India and abroad, Bhooth Bangla remains unshaken. On its 15th day, the film added a solid ₹1.25 crore (gross) from overseas markets, bringing its global overseas tally to an impressive ₹53.50 crore. This surge puts the Priyadarshan comedy on track to outpace Sunny Deol’s Border 2 (₹57.25 crore) and Salman’s Sikandar (₹58 crore) sooner than expected. With the third weekend looming, hitting these targets in the next two days looks entirely possible.

Scaling the Worldwide Bollywood Charts

Domestically, Bhooth Bangla has amassed ₹148.66 crore net (₹175.42 crore gross). Combine that with its overseas earnings, and the worldwide gross stands at a colossal ₹228.92 crore in just over two weeks. In the last 24 hours alone, it sprinted past Salman Khan’s Tubelight (₹223.24 crore), Ajay Devgn’s Total Dhamaal (₹223.36 crore), and even Prabhas’ Adipurush (₹228.46 crore) in the global Hindi belt.

Eyeing New Milestones

Akshay’s ghostly comedy is now teetering on the verge of dethroning his own Airlift (₹231.60 crore) as his eighth biggest hit ever. All signs point to Bhooth Bangla crossing that threshold by today, cementing its place among the top Bollywood earners of the post-pandemic era.
